Baked Lemon Pepper Curry Wings
Ingredients:
2 pounds chicken wings, split at joints, tips discarded
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon pepper curry spice blend
Zest of one lemon
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Chicken Wings:
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps in achieving crispier wings.
Season the Wings:
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), and lemon zest. Ensure that the wings are evenly coated with the seasoning.
Arrange on Baking Sheet:
Place the seasoned chicken wings on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are spread out in a single layer and not crowded.
Bake in the Oven:
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
Garnish and Serve:
Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Serve and Enjoy:
Serve the lemon pepper baked chicken wings hot as a delicious appetizer or part of a meal.
