Greek Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:

For the Turkey Burgers:

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled

  • 1/4 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

  • 1.5 tablespoons What’s the Dilly Spice Blend

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

  • Brioche buns or mini pitas

For the Tzatziki Sauce:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon What’s the Dilly Spice Blend

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

For the Tzatziki Sauce:

  1. Grate the cucumber and place it in a strainer. Press to remove excess water or squeeze it out using a clean cloth or paper towel.

  2. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, What’s the Dilly, lemon juice, and olive oil.

  3. Mix well, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

For the Turkey Burgers:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, red onion, garlic, feta cheese, spinach, What’s the Dilly Spice Blend, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. Form the mixture into patties, about the size of your buns.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through and golden brown on the outside.

To Assemble:

  1. Toast the slider buns or mini pitas lightly, if desired.

  2. Place a turkey patty on the bottom half of each bun.

  3. Top each patty with a generous spoonful of tzatziki sauce.

  4. Add any additional toppings you like, such as sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, or lettuce.

  5. Place the top half of the bun on each slider and serve immediately.
