Black Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken legs
3 tablespoons ALL BLK spice blend
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
Green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prep the Chicken:
Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels.
Prepare the Marinade:
In a bowl, mix together ALL BLK spice blend, soy sauce, olive oil, and honey (if using).
Marinate the Chicken:
Place the chicken legs in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or ideally 2 hours for better flavor.
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Bake the Chicken:
Remove the chicken from the marinade and place the legs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40-45 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), and the skin is crispy and golden.
Garnish and Serve:
Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with green onions, if desired.
